“to the moon, Alice!”

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters:

The 2007 Human Race is just around the corner and Bell House residents are ready to “take it to the moon.” The human race is a fund raising event, coordinated by the Greensboro Volunteer Center that provides non-profits in our community an opportunity to raise funds for themselves by finding race sponsors. This is the 12th year that Bell House residents have participated and we are really reaching for the stars this year with a goal or raising $20,000.

Bell House provides programs and residential service to physically disabled adults age eighteen and older, whose primary physical disabilities are orthopedic or neurological (cerebral palsy, spina-bifida, etc.). At Bell House, residents are challenged to expand their ideas, develop their interests, pursue their dreams and be as independent and self-sufficient as possible.

Please help us to meet our goal by agreeing to be a sponsor this year. Checks should be made payable to The Human Race, and please note in the memo section that the donation is for Bell House. Please mail checks by March 16th to Bell House, Inc., 2400 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405, attn. Carrie Cummings.

For more information on this event, contact our Coordinator of Volunteers and Activities at 1-336-621-0938, or by e-mail at volunteer@bellhouseinc.org . Additional information on the Human Race can be found by contacting the Volunteer Center at 1-336-373-1633 or by visiting their website at www.volunteergso.org.
