Donating to Bell House

Why Give: The Need

Founded in 1979, Bell House provides programs and residential services to adults with physical disabilities, primarily ortho-neurological disorders, such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida. Bell House promises our residents a chance to live with independence, freedom and opportunities for personal enrichment.

Most of the Bell House residents pay for their housing and care through Medicaid, which as of January 2011 is $1,182.00 a month, a mere $1.62 an hour to provide full care and services. Needless to say, this meager reimbursement does not nearly cover the cost of providing quality care to our residents.
